We are seeking a Head Customer Service Representative with the following characteristics:
Ability to manage a busy front desk in an equine referral & ambulatory hospital
Proficiency in multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Ability to oversee customer service representatives, performing on-the-spot coaching/mentoring
Emotional maturity with the ability to mediate and resolve communication issues
Creative initiative to develop protocols and processes to ensure efficiency at the front desk and the ability to communicate effectively with veterinarians and staff.
Driven to provide a stellar customer service experience- speaking with clients and referring veterinarians on the phone or in person to assess their needs/follow through/results driven.
Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally while maintaining a positive work environment
Large animal practice management software experience (HVMS)
Knowledge of equine husbandry and veterinary terminology
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the client service department, ensuring exceptional customer service and communication with clients.
Utilize veterinary terminology to effectively address client inquiries and concerns.
Manage front desk activities, including appointment scheduling and client interactions.
Ensure proper animal handling and care during client visits.
Collaborate with veterinary staff to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
Participate in doctors' meetings and leadership team meetings
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client services.
This is a full-time, permanent position with full benefits. Remote work is not available for this position.
